Album is really front loaded. First three tracks rule, but I cant really say the same for the rest of the album

ghost neck and how dark we pray are my faves on this

Album is underrated - every song rips on this, except for the closer. Even the b-side from this rips hard

Big fan for years and this one always stands out for me. It just seems harder, more balls to the wall and hypnotic.

I’m a fan of the band, not heard this yet though. Isn’t this the one with ‘clean’ production, doesn’t seem particularly fitting for their sound. Probably worth checking anyway.

Yeah it's their cleanest, but might have their best riffing

Potentially better riffing than Blessed or dVM? Wow.

on some of the songs, for sure. Just check out ghost neck and the t/t

Their last 2 are their best.
Vermiis in particular is so gooooddddd.

Vermiis is awesome, agreed... riffs like a beast. I love the overall vibe & atmosphere of Blessed though, hard to choose between them. DITC rules as well. Haven't really got into SBT as much although it's more than decent.
Need to hear the rest.

This is kinda bland

Damn you’re efficient, I’ve liked this band for over a year & still haven’t checked this (or Art/Lumi).

I enjoy the art of seek and destroy

I’m too much of a slut, it’s a recent problem of mine. Bouncing around from one vice to another just to get that fix, it happens.

Lol I too jump from genre to genre like it's nobody's business.
A less demeaning term would be a "locust" haha. Especially when I swarm to a band's discography, power through it, and move onto the next band.

Ruthless. I do that with bad bands & never look back, with these guys I’ll definitely return & finish what I started.
|
| |
Oh I love doing that especially with bad bands. When you're done with their discog, it's like walking away in slow motion with an explosion in the background

So this is definitely the weakest HoF yet, don't see any reason to listen to it over the rest of their discog. The production was indeed a poor choice & the songs are solid but unspectacular, they've certainly written more engaging material & better riffs.
Not a bad album, I just expect better from these guys.
