I've only heard this, Found in the Flood and Pass The Flask, but PTF was easily the worst of them.

Curse.

Potato- I realize I wasn't very clear. Whiskey will do that. Yes, ST had VERY forgettable tracks... but Asleep on the frontlines is amazing in my opinion. There's nothing like that on Heat Fetish. That song exemplifies everything I love about The Bled... there were a couple tracks like that... and unfortunately, I didn't hear anything that blew me away quite like that song. Again, just my opinion. I hear what you're saying.

Man this is pretty good, haven't fully digested it yet but it's definetely more brutal than found in the flood and silent treatment. However, I'm not sure if mo' brutal means mo' bettah for me. Yes, my favorite record is still pass the flask. But I love James clean vocals and really wish their were a couple more clean sections, and MOAR MOAR breakdownz. Crawling Home ownnnnnnnnns.

Their best work. For those still sayin it sounds like ETID..

STFU!..

Any band resembles another band, The bled has established their own sound.. while their not that unique, right away I can tell if Im listenin to the bled. Its a different atmosphere

The only reason I ddnt give this is a perfect score, well to me a perfect album gotta have a legendary track. A song that is soo unforgetfull it gives me goosebumps.. And I know I will enjoy bumpin it when Im 50.

Heat fetish is a monsta.. Their next release will be SCARY

Nice to see a good band fight through the bad and not fold, even if it does mean a severe lineup change. Pass the Flask is so much different than this album so it is kind of hard to compare them. Silent Treatment is definitely underrated by most of the people on this thread, it was the first album where Munoz expanded his vocal range and he did so with pretty good success. Back to this album...it rules.

This is a pretty damn good release, especially considering how close they were to probably breaking up due to debt. I have been listening to them a lot more recently (before getting this) and have been digging Silent Treatment. ST is definitely a CD that grows on you as it was a lot different than their first 2 albums. ST seems to be a lot more melodic which I found to be quite refreshing and done very well along with heavy songs like Beheaded my Way, which is probably my favorite track off that album.

Heat Fetish is undoubtedly the heaviest album since PTF and boy is it a damn fine CD. The guitar work is done well and an interesting followup to a more melodic CD in ST. I like that the band is not a one trick pony and does not just keep producing the same music time after time.

tbh I haven't listened to it on anything than my iPod, so it could just be the rip I have, but the guitars sound a little muddy and they needed to adjust the equalizer, as for some reason it's a little heavy on the low-end, but not in a good way.

I still think it's their best since Pass the Flask though

So I listened this today again, and lose it after about 4 or 5 songs. It's not bad, just kind of boring. It's on par with Silent Treatment, I think. Basically if I want The Bled, I listen to Pass the Flask.

Oh yeah, and I hear more Jay Forrest (Hopesfall) than Keith Buckley on this. Jay is quite a bit better/more interesting tho.

yep, it could conceivably get a 4 from me if it wasn't for the shoddy production
