"I don't know why everyone hates the album cover. I thought it was fairly loltastic."
Its such a cliche art style in the scene these days though. Go to any faux hardcore/metalcore show (ie prada) and all you see is shirts with the over colorful cartoon design with dinosaurs or zombies or whatever. Its been played for like a year now.

If you were one of the fans disappointed with Even If It Kills Me, don't fret any longer. Motion City Soundtrack have returned in a big way with My Dinosaur Life, an album that is a mix of everything the band has gotten right over the years. The punk attitude of I Am The Movie has returned, and the winning formula of Commit This To Memory is right there to fuel the fire. From start to finish, this album delivers over and over with every passing brilliant track. “Worker Bee” builds up to the laid back and poppy “A Lifeless Ordinary (Need A Little Help)”, and the single “Her Words Destroyed My Planet” brings to surface every element making this album the amazing piece of work it is. “Delirium” is a bouncy track that soars throughout, “Stand Too Close” is a sweet sounding acoustic piece you can't help but love, and the upbeat pacing of “Pulp Fiction” is more than enough to get anyone up and moving. If you can't turn a smile from the goofy “@!#?@!”, then there's something obviously wrong with you, so just give it up. Whatever your poison, My Dinosaur Life will surely find you something to enjoy again and again. This is a victorious return unlike any other. (www.columbiarecords.com)

well it finally caught on. I think it was delirium that hooked me. Barely a 4, but a solid record.

I can't stop listening to Pulp Fiction. That chorus is probably the catchiest they've ever made

this looks cool. i mean, is it pop punk? i see the word hooks mentioned several times, but nothing about what it actually sounds like... anyways, solid read.

It's definitely in the pop punk vein. You can also read Adam Knott's review for a better take. Speaking of which, his should be the default as well.
