nice review, this album is kinda like their death magnetic...not a full return to form but proof theres life in the old dog yet
and as a bass player i gotta say that ryan rips shit on this album!

This is making me very fucking happy.
LD50 had so many high points. Then I'd forgot about Mudvayne for years. When I went to update myself, I was slammed face-first into whiny emo bullshit. New Game had a single that reminded me of Dig, but more as a crappy impersonation. So I'd decided to stop listening to these guys.
I just heard of this new album moments ago, and I'm listening to the first track. Amazing! This is great so far. Such a step up.

it is a bit of a mixed bag, but there are some gems such as heard it all before, i can't wait and 1000 mile journey....and beyond the pale becomes immense at 3:00
i also feel that dead inside works alot better as a slower mudvayne song than alot of the stuff theyv'e been releasing on lost and found and the poo game

Great Review. I Thought this was a great album, it mixed the commercial styles of The new game and Lost and found with the heaviness of The End of all things to come, really liked it but they are still far from something that was like LD 50
