I remember this album being good but it's so abrasive I can't sit through it these days. I don't even know why; I can sit through something like Calculating Infinity just fine.

Yeah the album is really loud and in your face 100% of the time. Usually that's a good thing, but it kind of gets tiring to listen to on this album.
