I must confess: I would rate it much higher today, if I would review it today. Pretty much a stellar 4.5 for me. This is one album that is on my iPod ALL the time, without an exception

Also, standing on the edge of summer kicks ass. probably one of my top 3 on the album, actually.

It's interesting that some of the reviews/comments on here says that it takes a few listens to get used to Geoff's voice. I think he makes this more accessible TBH. And yes ^ that song does.

Can't believe I never really listened to this, it's a phenomenal album, so raw and heavy, and yet drenched in emotion and melody.

I still prefer WATT because of emotional connections it gives me, but thumbs up for this and the review.

i love this album. it's stuck in me since i heard it in 01. every time, i hear a track off it, it brings back a memory of a transistional time in my youth as most good music from that era does. this band took innovative ideas & sound & made something unforgettable 2 me on this album.

It's pretty cool, not worth having 2 copies though.

I really can't enjoy this as much as I should be able to due to the bad vocals.
