There’s a pretty stark difference between people not knowing who an under appreciated artist from like 50 years ago is and the majority of self proclaimed Kanye stans not knowing this album exists/that Kanye produced this given how popular it is.

Why does anything anyone says on this entire site matter?
Like I just find it weird that this is sorta lost in time in a world where TCD and LR are still discussed as if they dropped last week, and people are hailing Daytona (and even Nasir in some circles lol) as some of Kanye’s best work yet.

I think Common sounds like he's trying too hard on some of the songs here but there are some absolute gems and Kanye's production is amazing.
But tbh Alex that's how I was until like December when my friend recommended I listen to this.
But I don't think Daytona is some of his best work tbh. It's cool but doesn't feel crazy special like any of his albums do
