Finally got this album and it's a joy to listen to. Comparing the classical elements to compositional masters is ridiculous; it's like saying 65daysofstatic suck because they can't sample as well as DJ Shadow.



Vocals are really quite good, I wish they were present on more of the record. I love the fake pauses and time sig switches with the acoustic guitar on "the Hymn." This is much more accessible and enjoyable than something like Kayo Dot (just my opinion), though Kayo Dot is still great.



Anyway, 4.5, could go up...

Josh, you should give it another shot, man. It's definitely a quality album. One of those 4.5s that I've had as a 5 for a few days before, but decided that it is in fact a 4.5
