And as much as Sexy B*tch kind of drags me in for a moment, I can't bring myself to like any song featuring Akon. And none of the other songs really capture my attention like songs on Ministry of Sound style music albums should do.

Well, it is house music that has been modified for mass appeal. You can't out & out call it pop, which is what I presume you are getting at.
I definitely know what you mean about Akon... He rates just below Ministry of Sound discs too me.
