This CD will forever be somewhere within easy reach. For me, this band is all about the contrast of craig and mess, while the instruments help to cement their intertwining nature. They do an excellent job.



In my opinion, This album > Self titled > Royal Ocean > Happiness (which makes me throw up in my mouth). I hope that DBM2, with most of the original members returning and Kurt leaving, will give me a nice medium between the catchiness of ST and the intricacy of DBM. Really though, without the vocals, this band is nothing. So, DBM wins.

Having only heard Happiness I was surprised by how similar the clean vocals are really. Obviously, Johnny's has a better voice but the delivery is so similar...don't know why I waited so long to get this.

Their best album by far. The reason why the delivery sounds similar is because the vocalist after Jonny basically felt obligated to try to sound like him. This was hilarious in a live setting.
