Idk about a 5 but I could def see thing becoming a 4.5 for me, it’s hitting pretty damn hard. Guess I’ve gotta re-evaluate my assessment of these guys as “decent but not amazing”.

The use of the xylophone on this is so great, adds something rather unique to the atmosphere for this kind of music.

The production is awesome as well, all the guitars sound gorgeous across all the different textures.

Aside from the interlude the only track here I don't love is the closer and that only because his lyrics aren't good enough to carry a song on their own as they kind of have to there (the king metaphor is kind of cheesy), though it works really well as a comedown from "Keeping Warm".

I think this album has kind of ruined this band for me though lol, knowing just the second and third albums I used to think of them as really solid and those albums are really solid but they pale in comparison to this.
