Epicly amazing
Love that they have toned down the shouting, but enjoy it when it is well balanced. They have now perfected it and obviously crisis was good for the same reason.
Dallas' voice is amazing 
Enjoy that there is also a few slower songs, as there was on crisis, very atmospheric especially in 'Burial'.

I liked this a lot at for a while but it didn't have the repeatability of Watch Out! and Crisis for me. Tbh i miss the sweet guitar riffs of both watch out and crisis. I understand that they said they didn't want to reinvent the genre but u don't have to strum chords all the time. idk, to me they went for more of a wall of sound effect which worked in the epicness department but took away from some of the interesting qualities of the band. I liked this album a lot and i still love Dallas' voice, but i think on the next go around they should utilize their chops again and show everyone who does post-hardcore half-assed to get chicks how it's really done.

I actually hate this as much as I like it, it's Alexis and the songs are unqestionably solid, however the lack of energy thanks to George deciding to use that stupid fucking gruff voice makes me bemoan the fact that my once favourite band aren't ever going to be the same again. Yet I can't avoid listening to them cos they're still good.
I'm gonna go lie down.
