I think this is much better than S/t. Mess's awful "screams" and his terrible lyrics were so fail on S/t. Taking him off the roster was the best thing this band has done in my opinion. This album and this review are good, too. Catchy

Haha, naturally. If everybody took everything people said on Sputnik seriously, this would be a much unhappier place.

So I have listened to this enough while I was really blazed to say that it is officially my favorite DGD album. I even think it better than Downtown which I never thought DGD would achieve with Kurt, but Kurt really surprised me on this album. He fits into DGD so much better now than on the S/T.

man i personally think downtown battle mountain was the pinnacle of music. I didnt know music like that existed previous to it becuase it didn't. Its not even about jonny. jonny is about 16.67% of the music in that cd to me. everything has its own life, its own style, its own blend of ear f*ckin. i PROMISE you ive listened to that cd an average of like 500 times at least and ive yet to get tired of it. thats the only cd that can do that. In fact i like it more than ever...get youself some GOOD headphones and listen to it on a cd player....F*CK seriously. i havent listened to Happiness in like a month and it doesnt quite bother me much. its still and amazing album but it doesnt have the heart that the others had. like dance gavin dance is trully different. the lyrics didnt make much sense and the screams weren't what most people found "cool" but thats what made them the best...thats what they aimed to be. kurts awesome...we've all smoked when they come to houston but i liked it when the lyrics made no sense. they seem kinda dumb now.....God i love jon mess...i wish he was still in the band....hopefuly "victorias secret band" is as amazing as 2007 DGD.

Yeah, the album art deceived me too...

Eh, I didn't like this too much. It was "too happy", ironically. First song is cool, though.

Much better than their ST.

They've made an extremely unique sound, and they continue to progress, with no signs of stopping.
