This album was a pretty big step down from Reach even when it first came out, but I remember really liking Heights, The Hollow and Her Eyes Hold the Apocalypse. Might give this a spin for fun.

That's what I did (give it a spin for fun) since it had been so long. Still liked the previous album and all the ones after this one, but this one is not nearly as good as I remember it.

"and all the ones after this one"
hmmm Broken Frames I remember really digging, but everything beyond that has fallen real flat for me. I think this band is just drenched in nostalgia for me and since I stopped listening to them after BF they aren't going to click.

@Feather: Broken Frames and Masks are my top ESTK albums, so maybe be give it a shot. Part of my enjoyment of that one might be nostalgia, too, so…
@GetLow: No disagreement. It almost makes me want to delete my review since my opinion has changed so much. It was a moment in time, and at that time I was able to find more good in this, I guess

Wow, just saw you originally had this as a 3.8! You really soured on this one over time. I am slightly shocked by how much I enjoy this. Brings my right back to freshmen year of high school so I know it’s mostly just nostalgia factor

I just came back to this band the other day! Listened to a few songs in high school and Spotify auto-played into Darling the other day when I was listening to LoveHateHero. Might make a high school jams list soon

I have one of those. Love the nostalgia hit of a bunch of bands that fell off HEAVY.
LoveHateHero, Eyes Set to Kill, In Fear and Faith, Before Their Eyes, Of Mice & Men, Attack Attack!, all the warped tour hits.
