No worries, and I shall do that because I am in the need of some music, hence why I am on this site I suppose.

Croc, 'Rocket' was great live. I actually think it is a little over-rated as a song (how it was the highest charting song from 'Hysteria' in Australia is beyond me), but it really does go off live.
I thought Anzac Day was sold out Billy. Oh well, enjoy it mate... It should be a great game.
Poppy electro rock; Oh no, that sounds like The Galvatrons. They were actually ok live supporting Def Lep, but I heard their new single the other day & I almost dry reached. It has to be heard to be believed.

I think it's called 'Cassandra' but Johnny pronounces it as if it has about 10 syllables... Which is a fair effort since it only has 9 letters!

The Galvatrons suck almost as much as Def Leppard.
ALMOST.

The Galvatrons supported The Red Shore in Geelong a month ago, now that's genre mixing gone wrong!

That is indeed a mix gone wrong. I'm surprised that The Galvatrons got off the stage alive!
|
| |
I know, it was quite an intriquing set seeing that Geelong is a 'Metal' scene town. The Galvatrons played with a strong fan base (as well as a strong hate base mind you), then The Red Shore came on and the crowd went from 'Metro' dress to complete utter darkness... that being the clothing worn.
|
| |
The Galvatrons AND the Red Shore? I'd rather shoot myself than go to a gig like that.
|
| |
I just went for the spectacle, I am not a large fan of either bands and at 12 bucks a ticket why not!

James, I'm guessing it was one of those gigs where you spent just as much time looking at the patronage, than at the bands playing.
But the bands just seem so far apart. I mean, The Galvatrons have fans that wear like fluorescent 'Wake Me Up Before You Go Go' t-shirts! Haha.

Fuck both of them.
I'm currently listening to Phrase's new album. Now THERE's some real Australian music for you. Fucking excellent.

Review pending DavID? You'll be glad to know that Phrase's LP got a very positive review in today's edition of Melbourne's main newspaper. Definitely caught my eye, that's for certain.

I'm three paragraphs in.
I have a shitload of reviews that I've done for other publications/for shits and giggles that I'm going to post soon as well.
