Haha yeah there’s a decent variety here but it mostly evens out to fairly standard (though excellent) alt-country/Americana. Curious to hear your thoughts on the whole thing - as an alt-country fan this is essential stuff for me but even though you dig the two following albums I could see you going any way on this.

Not sure how this band can go from a beautiful heart-breaking folk tune into sounding like REO Speedwagon, but the Red-Eyed And Blue and I Got You (At the End of the Century) are right next to each other on the album, so I suppose anything is possible
