Because not every1 is insecure about their bodies?
Also, the sarcastic nature of Orchid's lyrics is God tier.

Yup,probably,I'm the kind of guy who's fat and is sitting all day long in front of a screen fapping while he's devouring some burgers.
except that I'm not.
also, listening to hardcore music while being at a pool party where everyone's dancing to Jay-Z crap actually IS a good reason to go.never thought of it before, but it sounds really good.

this is so fucking good
like the really intense hardcore moments countered by the really odd, off-kilter parts is so nice.
also the vocals are fucking brilliant

album is amazing
but i hate when they're compared to ampere
|
| |
Haven't heard these guys yet. This a good place to start?
|
| |
but i hate when they're compared to ampere
what is there to hate the similarities are pretty apparent

i disagree with that though
like yes they both have short song structures and intense vocals, but i don't know I get a completely different vibe from each of them.
like with ampere i get this whole hardcore, yeah revolution n shit smash capitalism type music that's really concise and is closer to punk than anything
while with orchid i feel like they're less direct, lots of cacophonous bursts and odd experimental moments that are transitioned really interestingly.
