Yeah, I wouldn't start with this either, haha. But more power to you, supremejelly!

That was something else. Now I'm very intrigued by these guys. Which album should I venture to next fellas?

Filth. Without a shadow of a doubt.

Filth, yes. I'd also throw in the two albums that were featured on PCIAGI to venture into afterwards: Greed and Holy Money.

filth, cop, young god ep, body to body/job to job should cover their bone-crushing sludgenoise era
and greed + holy money for studio versions of these songs (still heavy but w more of an industrial flavour)

What’s more draining to listen to you guys think? This, or Cop? Both disgustingly relentless albums that redefine heavy but personally I think Cop is the toughest listen.

I'd say Cop is a tougher listen when thinking about pure atmosphere, and not just album length. This makes for a 'better' listen in my opinion, but there's just something about the sound on Cop that physically repulses me like nothing else does.

cop literally sounds like gira's going to throw up while the rest of the band practuically fall asleep. this one is way more brutal and in-your-face about its awfulness so it feels more rewarding

yep this is 10x as enjoyable as cop for the same reason that filth is 10x as enjoyable as cop

Don't rate live albums but this is probably one of my favorites. Just fucking bone crushing in the best way.
