This album is sick in a good way, everyone here has said pretty much every good thing about it, If I may add that..start again is an epic song, while shadows and Death Of me are really good to..from there bonus tracks forever has a great build up to the chorus which itself is pretty great....better then their debut.
ANd for those Bashing breaking benjamin...i disagree as I feel Breaking Benjamin is getting alot of because theyve become very mainstream but imoopinion they are one of the top if not top modern mainstream band out now.

You compared them to Linkin Park FAR too many times in this review.

Really? He only did twice.

Yeah, some people just have an overwhelming need to complain and they always seem to find their way to Sputnik (or Blabbermouth).

By the way Trey, I have listened to their 2 albums now (& am going to blast them both on a drive on the weekend as well). You were spot on thinking I would like them. If anything, I preferred the debut just a smidge, but as you stated in the review, that was on 1st listen and this follow-up may be more likely to grow on me.

I'm glad you finally checked them out. The debut is definitely more instant than this one.

See that? I kept telling everyone that this wasn't nearly as "instant" as their debut and everyone kept coming back after a few listens talking about how this wasn't as good anyway...

I thought it was good from the start. Don't really see why some people don't like this band.

It took me quite a few listens to enjoy this as much as their debut. I can see why some people here don't like this band. There's nothing elite about listening to mainstream metal.

They are certainly better than the vast majority of bands in the genre

They are definitely a good band, its just at first it didn't interest me all that much. But now I find myself listening to this more and more and I actually can listen to the whole cd in one sitting.

No word of a new album yet, but they are doing a music video lol. If I hear anything I'll let you know Willie

Wow. This album is retardedly good for mainstreaming sounding music. Hope they get more attention than they deserve, I'm certainly happy to have found em.
Forgot to say: excellent review, made this band gain a new fan. This Message Edited On 05.18.09

Trey, I have come to the conclusion that the deluxe edition with the extra 3 songs is a half mark better than the standard edition. It just provides a nicer mix (& that bit of immediacy) to the equation.
Agree/Disagree/Neutral...???

I am neutral on it simply because those songs are all tacked on to the end and they'd work better distributed through the album.

I've heard the next single for these guys is bonus track "Forever". Anyone know if that is true?

Hmmm, I never thought about that, but I guess you're right with 2 of them. I like the alternate version of 'Fight Inside' in the closer position, but that would mean the slower closer of the standard edition would have to be moved to earlier in the track ordering. Argghhh, why didn't they just release the 14 track version from the get-go?
Dare I ask what you suggest we do with regards to the database? (a) Someone may add the deluxe edition, (b) we can leave it as is OR (c) the 4 tracks can be added as bonus tracks here. The problem with that is that the intro means every track moves down a position.
