WTF Asiatic... Ummm, I don't think that's the line I was thinking of. Haha.
I won't believe it Billy. Does it also extend into a 10 minute jam?
Hey look, the Aussies are fighting back. I'd actually given them up and was preferring to watch the Federer vs Nadal slugfest!
|
| |
What you mean your watching a poor Aussie side get beaten at cricket as opposed to the worlds two best players giving it everything at the Aussie Open final, pshhh

There's a reason we don't sing the second verse to the national anthem anymore.
For those who've come across the seas,
We've boundless plains to share
Australia is now infested with racism, so that lyric is a no go.

As for the cricket, fuk its tense. This Message Edited On 02.01.09

Kiwis win on the last ball & Federer vs Nadal into the 5th set! A classic night of sport!
|

Federer for the win. If he doesn't he has only himself to blame due to the chances he's missed.
Edit: Although the longer this goes on, the stronger Rafa looks. This Message Edited On 02.01.09

Don't forget that Nadal played a record long 5 hr 15 min match just the other night! He'd have to be super fit to pull this one out. Not to mention that he has already sweated more than the amount of water we currently have in our reservoirs!

Tennis and cricket = comatose-inducing.

Well that last set was a bit of an anti-climax.

Go away when we are talking sport DavID. ;-)
Yeah, that last set was a little bit of a letdown Ross. Great win by the Spaniard though. The last point pretty much summed up the match really; Federer just on top and running Nadal around, but Rafa still coming up with the goods when all was said & done.
|
| |
Yeah I almost feel sorry for federer the way he played in that last set.

The important part of being a good sportperson is being able to show some humility and Federer did that. This year's open was the best I've ever seen, every match had something wothwhile about it.

"Not to mention that he has already sweated more than the amount of water we currently have in our reservoirs!"
He basically solved victorias drought problem all by himself!

Yeah, some people don't like Federer thinking he is boring or a robot, but I never thought it was a crime to be a nice guy. His frustration must be boiling over right now. Oh well, that $44 odd million prizemoney that he has won in 8 or so years should keep him happy enough.
I had to throw in a comment about Nadal's sweating. That was just inhuman.

Haha yeah I get you Davey, nothing wrong about being a nice guy. Tell you what this superbowl thing is bloody good. This Message Edited On 02.01.09

Haha... You say that like this is the first SuperBowl ever. It would be better if it was a bit more high-scoring & closer like last year. Darn 100 yard interception return!
