What... Being packed in like sardines? Seriously, it's been pretty bad and to actually be paying for it over the past week or so is daylight robbery.

Man, I don't know if I am the one to ask about writing hip-hop reviews as I really struggled with them, especially initially. I had real troubles with keeping them to a decent length, so I guess my tip is to try and keep to a set number of paragraphs/words and be as concise as possible. Especially if it's really good lyrically, you will want to list a whole bunch of lyrics. Be picky & only include the best of the very best. Everything else is pretty much as normal. For example; be sure to mention the beats, samples, etc... as if they were instruments.

horrible review. I could write better stuff my thumb chopped off and a size 10 80's style jordans stuck up my hairy ass.

Haha yeah I guess that sucks, but at least you don't have to pay to feel l ike that anymore :D

As for the advice thanks, I don't actually like including lyrics in my reviews except for in exceptional circumstances, and although I dont think I can get away with not including some here, I don't think it will be a great problem. I'll definitely keep a leash on the length though, and I'm on top of the beats/samples stuff for the moment as well.

sba4life, buy a new thumb so you can write better. It's Davey, not davay. Remember capital letters and try to use a full stop at the end of the sentence.

I'm always being helpful.

Good luck with it Ross. I look forward to seeing which album it is.

Yeah, it's a bit scary when 35 degrees seems like a perfectly pleasant day.

Daveyboy, did you ever look into Shotgun Messiah? I think you should review their "Second Coming" album.

album is ultimately great

a few rather redundant parts though, particlularly the seemingly sugersweet moments (ala 'I want to know') which seem to undermine the political and social messages prevelent everywhere else.

still, it's all catchy, funky rock which is all i asked for going in.
