1. fantastic verses (verses on illadelph could be better tho, def more technical in parts)

2. absolutely brilliant production (fantastic diversity in type of beats, even from the previous album which is top 5 hip hop for me)

3. awesome guest spots (mos def's verses are absolutely filthy, and thought rivals him throughout that track. common's guest spot is dope too, dice is nice too)

4. excellent flow

5. bonus track at end rivals the best rappers in history imo, black thought is absolutely, positively, undeniably a lyrical, technical rap genius

listen to illadelph halflife mang its a little long but completely worth it, perfect balance of insightful, playful, creative verses with street-y, dark jazzy beats all over it



common's verses on it are filth and q tip is dope on it and blk thought and malik are gods on it imo

I don't listen to a lot of rap (not because I don't enjoy it, I just haven't had much exposure to the genre), but this is one of my favourite albums of all time. Illadelph Halflife is very good too.
