Neg'd the review - AMAZING album though - Had to neg it because of the monotonous referrals and comparisons to Meshuggah, and the connotations of "Indecisive Time Changes"...
To me - This album DOES stick out more than their other albums, but to me - The Time-Changes are very decisive and clean, the vocals are stupendous, and dude needs to do a little more research on Gojira; They PRIDE themselves on being completely "Groove-Driven" which makes them unique from Meshuggah in more than that singular way. They also consider themselves to be "Environmentalist Acid Groove Metal"....So if that doesnt speak fathoms about them and their influence/motivation/inspiration, then I dont know what does.

OceanOfWisdom, I believed we covered this a few days back, agree? If the reviewer felt compelled to compare them to Meshuggah, so be it. Play nice!

This album is good metal. Not particularly amazing or groundbreaking, just really well written metal. It deserves regular rotation

Used to hate this simply because there was soooo much material and I didn't have the attention span. It's pretty great now that I can appreciate it. The Art of Dying is my favorite.

A Sight to Behold is such a bad song, but the rest of the album kicks arse.
