Well maybe I can reference it because he does sing in falsetto in said song...I don't see why you're comparing him to Thom Yorke they don't play the same musical style...Thom York only has a 2 octave range if that as well its just a higher octave...the notes aren't the only factor in being a great singer...I mean Mariah Carey has like a 4 octave range but she is terrible singer tbh...I only guessed that you hadn't heard those songs because well...if you had you would notice he actually hits high notes? eh...
And Thom Yorke is not a great singer. I love his voice and Radiohead's music but he is not a great singer, he's far better than the Anberlin guy though.
If you're looking for a great singer go for Sam Cooke. The best non classical singer who ever lived.
Mariah Carey is an extremely good singer. Her music is not for me but that doesn't matter.
o and to you lunch
Paul Simon=epic fail
I just realised I am talking a guy who rates American Idiot, Senses Fail and Anberlin at a 5. I will now stop talking to you.

I'd say I've already passed you off as being a 15 year old who, like most normal 15 year olds, has terrible taste in music he will one day grow out of (hopefully).
Any futher bad judgement will have no effect as I've already got you pegged.

you're just dumb eh?

that's fine does that mean the guy who seems to be a clone of my dad judging by his esteem of the beach boys, beatles, and radiohead, is going to neg any review i write that he dislikes
I suggest you look up the word esteem.
Your dad is cooler than you. Most of the best music was made in the sixties or seventies, fact.

ill stay with grindcore then its usually a pretty good repellent of adults, then again so is anything new or groundbreaking
The last truly groundbreaking album, as in something never ever done before in any form was when Kraftwerk invented electronica in 1974.This Message Edited On 09.29.08

If you honestly believe the last groundbreaking album was made in 1974 you are very foolish...and nobody "invented" electronica...and if music had to be something that was never done before to be considered great the I guess people should just never bother to write music again...oh well...I guess I'll go notify all the bands of the world to give up...This Message Edited On 09.29.08

my dad is a fat abusive prick, you wanna say that again ill kill you myself and yea i know i do know how to use esteem
You'll need a plane.
judging by his admiration, or lemme rephrase the sentence
the esteem in which he holds the beach boys... etc
The Beach Boys released one of the finest albums of all time in Pet Sounds. It's more groundbreaking than anything that came out in the past 20 years and beyond.
life isnt an honors english class buddy
As language is a means by which to transport your thoughts to another persons brain it's usually useful to use correct definitions and to make yourself as clear as possible. I don't understand why anyone would not use correct spelling and grammar at all times.

What came after that which was genuinely groundbreaking and not a rework, a slight alteration of something else, or a combo of two genres?
Kraftwerk made the first electronic album. Other guys had kind of used tape loops before but nothing like an electronic album had ever been made prior to them.

Hardcore is just guitar music. Sure they play a bit faster and sing rougher but it's still just guitar music. Most of it still retains pop structure too. Emo is a type of hardcore music.
Death Metal is again just guitar music. In the broad spectrum of things it's nothing new.
Hip hop is an extention of electronica. It's poetry over electronica.
