i'd almost rather listen to white noise than jfac - bmth have some groove and aren't as awful as they're made out to be

TBH i hate this band, mainly because of the image and the faggot fanbase. Its bands like this that give -core bands a bad name. I listened to their last album once i think and never again! But I'm considering listening to this as it got some ok reviews and i try not to judge a book by its cover...tho image is usually indirectly proportionate to talent.

If i like Architects, Devil Sold His Soul, BTBAM and Underoath would i find this band legit? This Message Edited On 01.27.09

Album is surprisingly good while simultaneously being such standard metal/death-core. The varied screams make it a bit more interesting and the breakdowns aren't boring for once. This Message Edited On 02.12.09

This. I go through phases with this record. Must confess I'm pretty pumped to see them at ToC.

I can understand why some may not like the image of this band but i dont understand why so many people hate their music so much. I find suicide season to be quite a decent recording. Aside from all the hype this band has been given i think theyre quite good.

'Trivium Syndrome' haha, that made laugh.

Agreed, a song every now and again is the only way to listen to this album. Listening to the whole album can be like eating a lot of cake, you feel you've had too much half way through, but you have the remaining pieces anyway. But it all becomes boring and not worth it. But one piece every so often is alright.

In honesty, this album will be forgotten some time soon. It's not ground-breaking at all really. Not to mention a the whole genre-changed feeling completely forced. But for now, it can get your head bobbing and feet-a-tappin' and forsome that's all that matters.

Good review.
