I like Define more, but they both rule, so whatever.

This is definitely a grower. hovering at a 4 after about a week of listening.

[QUOTE=iluvatar]

Would you prefer more experimental metalcore or a heavier, more vocal based variant?

Which is which?

guys are being fags in dragonforce thread. I've decided to listen to DtGL first before this album, as soon as I've finished with my trip down memory lane with the killers hot fuss album XD

So you're complaining about people listening to Paramore (among other things) but at the same time you're listening to the Killers? I see no difference.

anyone agree that Aaron Gillespie's vocals are a lot better too but the drumming isn't as good as DTGL?This Message Edited On 08.28.08

Drumming has improved a lot on this album. Vocals are overused and just fill in the gaps when the band cant think of anything else to do instead of being used effectively and creatively like in DTGL.

I've listened to this about once, and songs individually, but from what I've heard the one that really does stick out is The Only Survivor....

I'm sure it'll be in the 3-4 range.This Message Edited On 08.28.08

Very true, but the rest of the album is almost as good. especially the heavier parts, which are surprisingly(to me) the better parts of the album.

because Wikipedia are the same people who called Divine Heresy deathcore.
