This album, and a lot of other popular scene queen albums, is a 1/5 but I hate being that guy with a million 1s for shitty post-hardcore bands.
woo new album!!!

All night dance parties is a good song

Pharoh, who would you compare these guys to? I can tell the music is probably gay just by the looks of these guys.

First album I used to jam when I was younger, that one was bad but this is worse. Guilty pleasure of mine, though.

This was the first album I ever heard from these guys and I immediately hated it. Somehow it ended up growing on me (First track, Seduction, All night parties, that ridiculously long breakdown in the last track) and I still enjoy it 4 years later
but dont tell anyone

Band is very poor and their music is a joke. In high school I met some fucking emos who put this shit when we were listening Led Zeppelin and Judas Priest, we raged and we kicked them and they were absent for 1 week cuz the physical damage in their bodies was too damn high: that's what have when you play music made for pussies.

On their Steve Evetts produced 2nd LP 'Where Myth Fades to Legend', Raleigh formed sextet Alesana look to refine their sound without losing any of their chaotic energy. With a fairy tale theme running through the majority of the album, more focus is placed on clean vocalist Shawn Milke. The idea works well on the album's front half, but soon wears thin as it progresses & fails to deliver multiple memorable tunes. Re-recording 3 of the weaker tracks from their 2005 EP also seems a strange idea, since it disrupts any kind of thematical cohesion. Recommended Tracks: This is Usually the Part Where People Scream, A Most Profound Quiet & Better Luck Next Time Prince Charming.

It's fair enough on a debut LP though... A couple of years later on your 2nd LP is a totally different matter. Plus, I think they were the weaker tracks from the EP.
