That's a generous rating Caliggy. There are some dope ass tunes on here tho...

I get it's pretty controversial. But I do like it a lot. Especially the title track. One of my favorite Queensryche songs.

"Title track???? Or do you mean the opener?"
I think I had a massive brain fart. For some reason for a second I thought the album name was "Sign of the Times" and not "Hear in the Now Frontier"...
let's just pretend that didn't happen

Gotta say, I completely forgot just how much songwriting input DeGarmo had on this one. There's only one song on here (Reach) that wasn't written or cowritten by him... the amount of mediocrity here is pretty strange, considering his songwriting prowess at the time
Maybe he was just burned out creatively, which could have been a factor in him leaving the band

This was simultaneously better and worse than I was expecting. It's not so terrible more so as just way too average across the board. Some decent tunes but lacks enough to catch attention. Now I'm extra scared to see how it gets worse from here

I really fucking hate this. I honestly don’t even think it would be good if you took away everything I know about Queensryche and just saw this as its own thing. Everything they do here was done better by a hundred alt/grunge bands 5 years earlier.
