I loved the single "Numbers", it was on at least 2-3 mix CD's I had lol. Could never get into this album however, I think it's time for a re-spin. So far, "Long Walks on Short Bridges" is a fuckin' jam and a half.

The ending of Numbers is godly. And I only wish that fuckin solo was louder in the mix.

Album actually aged really well.
I still feel like it had more potential than it did, mostly due to the mixing. If you listen to the demo tracks for Long Walks and Photographic Memory they had a bit more life to them

I loved this band, the vocalist on this took me a loong time to get used to but the way they balanced all their different elements was perfect for what they were trying to do. If I listened to this again now it'd prob be a 4, I was always just disappointed with the lineup change.

in the music biz
being good and slowly crafting quality records is less reliable than than pumping out constant marketable shit that sticks in your head and creates controversy
this band could have been so much bigger because they were very memorable and had a great band name. but emmure made it bigger simply because they never stopped and developed a fanbase through a lot of touring despite most rational people hating them. I mean I do like goodbye to gallows, but that band is terrible. this band would have been huge if they kept going on like that, it's a shame.
