I actually think that “the world is crying but nobody’s listening… so please leave a message on my cell phone.” are very good and funny lyrics. In case you didn't understand, it is a way to make the statement that are societies are going in the wrong way and that it should be quite worrying but that we are all blinded and distracted by shallow and futile stuff like new technologies. It is a relevant statement made in a funny way. It might not be genius but it is far from being a negative thing. Moreover the idea is developped throughout the song so it is not as if he was just throwing this at the listener hoping he could grab the meaning without any context.



I actually quite like this album. Also, what's the problem with ripping off Muse btw ?
