haha no. modern leper is simply one of the best things ever written. the lyrics are AMAZING.
every time i play this record i think, shall i just play my standouts? and then i realise it's impossible to pick anything to skip. so i just end up having the best 48 minutes of my day.

I think I now understand why I'm not liking this as much as I want to. it's obv a very personal album, and there needs to a connection; but for that relationship, you need to have gone through some of what he's talking about (or at least vaguely relate to it). and I haven't. nonetheless, the modern leper is still a fantastic track and I might well check out the new album if it's less oriented around heartbreak.
