haha no flame war man.

This album is great, I just feel like this is too derivative of Tool. Like sometimes blindingly.

I think Feathergun was finally 'their' album, ya know? Eh, just my thoughts.

@SitarHero Haha it's all good. I know you can't deny the influence but I hate when people call Rishloo Tool clones. Pisses me off. Love this album to death though.

Well I dunno about Feathergun (yet) but if you'd played this album for me sans vocals I would've sworn the rhythm section was Carey and Chancellor. The singer is pretty fucking awesome though. It's definitely a good Tool album.

Oh yea Andrew is incredible he sounds undeniably like Maynard imo. I can't decide which one I like better though. Feathergun finally developed a sound of it's own but I have sentimental value for a lot of the songs on Eidolon.

That's understandable, and the singer sounds like a cross between the best parts of Maynard and Mercury, who are two of my favourite vocalists, so I ain't complaining. If you're gonna wear your influences on your sleeve, you may as well live up to them.

Because the ancients believed that soul and body could part and that under great emotional stress the soul would actually leave the body. When this happened a person was 'beside himself.' This same thought is to be found in 'out of his mind'; and in 'estasy' too. 'Ecstasy' is from the Greek and literally means 'to stand out of.'"

So the psychic discombobulation is so intense that it rounds ecstasy and heads back towards pain? Is that why Leviticus only 3.5'd this?

Well it's understandable cause the production is a little iffy on this but I got over it and embraced the raw sound. Drums could be louder and the guitars are harsh on some of the songs.

I recall the band saying that his heart wasn't in it anymore. Have no idea what he's up to now though. And his life calling him

in another direction? A born again Christian is actually not a bad theory.

Seriously like I said before, anyone calling them clones of Tool or APC pisses me off. The influence is there, but they are not clones. To think they're boring is fine, but the not listen to them because they sound like their influences I hate.
