i have to say something ive liked this band scence they got signed to tragic hero records and every scence ive been in love this review was wack the vocals are amazing the bass dosent make a big impact as it should the drums are very very well recorded the screams are done nicely i dont see a flaw in the album at all this was a horriably bad review i think you should of listened to the album more than once and actualy finsh listening to it its very good way better than the ep and there new singer shoulds the same as jordan i dont see how every one hates this album

See i listen to an album 3 times on my PC + any other time i may listen to it away for my PC. On the 4th time on the PC i take notes adn then i write my review. Bad review. Average album.

They should have stuck to an EP and gotten rid of all the filler tracks. I had hear about this band for a good year before actually listening to them [before the LP] and I thought the EP was major suckage, but thats how hype effects my opinion [same goes for FTSK, but thats for another day]. Although, going back to it later on, I did find that one or two songs were good, not great, but the rest was mediocre. This album, love the final track, but thats about it. I find myself droning out around track 6 and just skipping to the end.

Jag though, I love his voice, and its a disappointment that he's gotten shafted twice for taking over vocals. People judge him to quick since he has been in the shadow of two previous singers with cult-like fan bases [Following Matt Lamb from Odd Project, and I admit I had rejected their new album with him at first as well].

Overall though, it would be about a 3 to me if half of these songs wern't on this album. The fact its generic doesnt really matter to me most of the time, just how much fun they can make it, or energetic. But, since it can get rather boring, ill give it a 2.

Upon more listening, I am starting to think the album's less generic than people make it out to be. I mean I REALLY like the album. no more than a 3 though. Their vocals are... well they're just not very good. but it's catchy as fuck, and the real stars of the album are the producers. it's amazing what a good producer can do. albeit this is an extremely liberal style of production.

and i absolutely hate jag's voice. he just sounds... girly?

i mean, high pitched vocals arent bad in general, but the way jag does em just irritates me. i can understand if you like this album because you like catchy music. im more into music with more substance. i guess its a matter of opinion.

but for now, i hate this cd and this band because i think they lack talent.

I think you were too nice in the review, at first I liked the songs I heard but then I saw them live and it would have been funner watching monkeys throw poop into the crowd. then I went back and listened to the cd and realized how horrible it really was. All the songs are to short and the melodies are the same and the screaming is the same. poop album!

Wow, why so harsh on these guys? This album was pretty impressive, aside from a few songs.



"Wires and the Concept of Breathing" and "Eris and Dysnomia" were both pretty amazing tracks.
