my vinyl copy is one of my favorite vinyls, because it is completely gratified up with stickers and sayings and a chicks phone number, and the inner sleeve has a note from the guy to his mom, saying, "bye mom, Going to the Prom with karen, see you tomorrow"

I'm setting off in a bit with the boys to see these fossils. Will be sure to heckle Axl if I'm not barred entry from the Stadium by the fluorescent security clones for having had one pint of intoxicating beverage. Even though I've forked out 80 quid for a ticket. ROCK N ROLL!!!!

Good review, and I agree: this is a classic album. But: I truly love "Overdose" and don't think it's a filler but a great song (killer). It's almost minimal music, repeating the same groovy, heavy riff, but with maximum effect.

Agreed Overdose is flawless, that riff is inescapable. Unfortunately Go Down and Dog Eat Dog aren't on the same level as the rest of the album. Otherwise this would be a hard 5.
