Who ever wrote this review is dumb fag and they know nothing about music. This whole album is awesome and so are all their other ones. They are one of the best bands ever to exist. You only wish you could make music as good as them and be like them. And actually they pick the best songs for their single. So stop saying a bunch of bull**** about them. Bye ****er.

^^ LOL
Thank god this is his only post
I think youre giving this album too much credit. It pales in comparison to The Blue Album or Pinkerton.

I loved old Weezer (Blue, Pinkerton), but from the singles and what I've heard about Make Believe, I don't think I'll be touching this anytime in the future.

I hate new Weezer. I haven't really heard old Weezer though, and I hear it's different.
I think most people wouldn't hate new Weezer so much if old Weezer wasn't so good.
I'm doubtful of that.
maybe you should listen to old weezer and then say if you hate new weezer
 It wouldn't change my opinion of this newer stuff, so I don't know what logic you're using there.

Kripes, I must say, in terms of awesomeness, the first two are great. The new stuff is an incredible disappointment over old weezer. thats why so many weezer fans hate it with a passion, because it's completely not like their old stuff, which was definitely amazing.

this album has to grow on you, you will not like it if you are closse minded and it took me alot of time for me to like it as well. this is such a pity is the most cathiest track ever made by weezer and that video is going to be cool. rivers can write a pop song even if his life depended on it. e.i. beverly hills, the reason they have sold so many copies of this cd was based on that song. the chorus has three syllables and yet he manges to put in a very catchy hookThis Message Edited On 03.06.06

I don't think that I am close minded but I don't like this album very much.

But I agree with you that "This is Such a Pity" is one of the better/catchier songs. Definitly not their catchiest though.

to me the cathiest is "this is such a pity". Every time i want to listn to weezer i play that song first and then all the other songs on this album and others. I know there are other great songs in weezer's catalog, but that shows how great weezer has been over my life.

The review was well written, yet I still think all their latest releases are highly underated, epecially maladroit. People need to take this for what it is rather than complain and whinge about what they wish it was. good review and good album dude. This Message Edited On 04.11.06

^^bro, I can give you maladroit, but the green album is kinda boring and this one extremley cheesy. All their song-writing has gotten tired since Pinkerton.

Anyone who has heard their first two albums should be able to back that up

there will never be another blue album or pinkerton. as for make believe? great album considering their previous releases. i love weezer and will listen to anything they release but i wasnt able to really relate to the green album and maladroits lyrics the way i was able to in their first two albums. make believe, to me, seems to be a turn back to the old rivers. though it seems as if the band is experimenting musically, the lyrics are top-notch. id give this album probably an 8.5 out of 10. i thought it was well done. the only thing keeping me from giving it a 10? beverly hills and we are all on drugs.

Someone shoot the "woofwoofwoof" guy, he needs to burn.

Anyways, yeah this album is actually really great! I'm am really dissapointed in "Beverly Hills" but the song is worth listening to at least once in a while. Although I do think its one of their worst songs ever. So I think that the future is clearing up for Weezer! Rock On!!!

come on guys, the music has just matured. I bet rivers would say its impossible to make another blue or pinkerton - purely because he just doesnt write in that style anymore. Anyway, weezer are getting too old now to write songs as punky as blue. I have a funny feeling this album is going to go the way of Pinkerton ( excluding beverly Hills obviously).
