My memory isn't that good, have a copy of the setlist floating around. Caught The Volta, Ladyhawke, Muse, Karnivool and most of the locals like Luger Boa etc.

right where it belongs is one of my favorite songs of all time...actually right where it belongs v. 2 is but the album version is still amazing and even better live. Seriously unappreciated album...just bumped it from a 4 to a 4.5

I think "All the Love in the World" is my favorite because it always makes me think of this which is shown on the jumbotron before every St. Louis Cardinals game:

This is one of my favourite NIN albums and, despite being rather different to their older stuff, i find it one of their most enjoyable. A great mix of new ideas and a bit of classic NIN aggression makes this a mixed but pleasurable album to listen to. Nice to see Trent experimenting with his formula, With Teeth is a great companion to the angrier and heavier Broken and The Downward Spiral albums.

Yeah, this is all about Trent Reznor learning to have fun with his music. This album is funky aggression and contemplation.

It's the most accessible, most catchy, most fun, but in the same time maybe his weakest.
But I'm glad it doesn't feel like a guilty pleasure when I listen to it. It feels good when I give it a 4.5.It aint linkin park you know..

When you say "Defiantly", it's clear you mean "definitely".

I really like With Teeth but Getting Smaller gets my vote for the worst NIN song ever. Lyrics so bad they are embarrassing and musically it's very very bland. The track Home should have made the album instead, its a far superior song in every respect

No doubt I'm the odd one out here, but this was a very disappointing release for me. NIN's evolution has been one that arose from a primordial rage and built itself into a comprehensive body of work with a dynamic range unlike any other comparable act. Tracks like Mr. Self Destruct or The Way Out is Through are filled with erroneous noises and feedback that would be omitted from any similar release, while Only or The Hand That Feeds are dry studio concoctions with nothing but the essential instrumentation included. Tracks that open with low-pass filter sweeps and end with hanging chords is a far cry from the angry dissonance that concluded NIN's most memorable dissonance. Trent clearly still has 'it,' and songs like Sunspots show it, but these tracks ditch the power of earlier releases in favor of a homogeneous electro-rock sound with minimal lasting impact.

Geogaddi - you have the description right, but I've always felt that was the point. As someone who is still a NIN-obsessed fanboy at heart, this album got me into NIN, and is not my favorite NIN album, but the focused electro-rock feel was the culmination of getting sober and scrapping the ideas for what was to be another concept album called Bleedthrough. I seriously think so many other songs both before and after this trump songs like "Love Is Not Enough" and "Getting Smaller", but it's the extremely smart moments like "All The Love..." "With Teeth, "Only", and the final three that make the album greater than the sum of its parts.

"I feel I'm a million miles a-..."
"Sometimes I get so lonely I could..."
No one ever points out those melodramatic cut-offs in All The Love In The World, and I think they're wildly self-deprecating and genius!

Edit: Lol comment #3000 in a NIN thread. What a surprise.

Ha, if only I had the desire to reach 1000...
Listened to this album in full today. It brings the self-doubt funk like no other. I really have to review this because it was my first ever NIN album and I think the high-rating reviews for it are very sub-par.
