KC, Floyd, Rush... it's interesting that after the fall of 70s prog the big thing those bands latched onto was new wave. Honestly some of my favorite material from those bands are when they went full new wave

floyd was more dreamy 80s adult contemporary, if i recall correctly

or was that their 90s phase? i'm probably thinking Division Bell

It’s been a while since I heard a Floyd album but my fav stuff of theirs is like like the singles to The Wall, which I guess isn’t new wave but it’s a push in that direction.

I just like prog guys trying to make 80s pop hits

i could see the singles off The Wall having a bit of new wave tinge but they never really took off in that direction yeah

I actually got 90125 for free on vinyl after helping out with a yard sale. Should check it out

Did you try some Asia? If you like prog guys doing 80s pop that should be yours.

Also, the 'Keystudio' compilation by Yes is quite nice and even though it's from the late 90s it sounds like straight from the 80s!

I expected this to be pretty underwhelming, but it's a fun listen.

A low 4.0 atm, I wished for more high points, but the record is quality all the way through

Discog run; a fun listen, less tech than Discipline, but still very good.

highlights for me; Neal And Jack And Me/Sartori In Tangier/Waiting Man/Neurotica

Next stop the incredible Discipline.
