It's power metal, so it's supposed to be cheesy. Unless you're Lost Horizon, then well, you are the Gods of Power Metal.

Aside from being cheesy, Dragonforce is plain boring.

This album is solid. And to be honest, I didn't even notice the solos much until people started pointing them out (this was when the album was released and people weren't afraid of liking the band).

Their first album is better but this is still good fun, just ignore Inhuman Rampage and stop being such little bitches.

I still need to hear Valley of the Damned

Because every song I've heard from Dragonforce, which is this album and the new one, sounds the same. All the vocals, all the solos, all the lyrics, it just bores me to death.

The only enjoyment I've ever had from this band was watching a friend of mine playing Through the Fire and the Flames blindfolded on Guitar Hero. He passed it.

I'm not sure what difficulty it was. I'm not sure if it was even a proper song on the game or one that he 'created', as they do. Is it on any of the GHs?

Good review this is my personal favorite Dragonforce album. One thing though, you got prepare for war mixed up with Soldiers of the Wasteland with Prepare for War. Soldiers of the Wasteland is the really long one with the "Burning fires burning lives on the long distant roads" part at the beginning. Overall it's a good review and I agree with you on most parts.
