I've been listening this a bit more and I'm warming up to the songs. Some are great, but others aspire for too much. He's at his best when he's just letting loose on vocals with the guitar as pure accompaniment instead of when he's trying to do something semi-original or artsy. I still don't have the album in full and have been listening via imeem so I'm going to delay ratings/ranking/final commentary until later.

Sooo much better than on recording. It's not as though the album is bad but considering how good some of the live recordings of it are it's really underwhelming.

Seen it. It's really good, and "Skinny Love" is one of my least favorites on the album. Even though his live recordings are great, the album lives up to it in most cases. The live videos I've seen of Lump Sum, Blindsided, and Flume were all equal to the album versions in my opinion. The only songs he does better live that I've seen on the internet are Skinny Love and For Emma.
