I never realized how good Seabeast is!!! I love that whole song. The lyrics are probably some of the best Mastodon lyrics IMO. The outro is pretty fucking sweet also.

Well, I pretty much completely forgot about Mastodon for a while because I never liked them at first. I decided to listen this album the other day and i absolutely love it now. KICK ASS!

The DVD is pretty pointless, it's just one of those dealies that Best Buy always tries to add on. It didn't even have any IMAGES on it, just live SOUND!

Seabeast is hands down the best track on this album. Other great ones are Magalodon, Hearts Alive, Naked Burn, and Aqua Dementia. The other singles are alright in my opinion.

I picked this album about a year and half ago. It didnt really do much for me so I put it on my shelf with the rest of my cds and forgot about it. Recently, I heard a few new tracks from Blood Mountain and decided to give this album another chance. Wow, was I ever stupid to have ever written the band off so quickly. Its been a week now, and I just can't stop listening to this amazing metal album.

I need to take some time and listen to this band. So far from what I have heard the stuff sounds like it will take a little bit to get into yes?

The only thing that takes a little while to get into is the vocals. They are hit or miss with alot of people. But if you can get past the vocals you will love this band.

Awesome awesome album. Yes, the drummer may show off a little too much...but I like how he goes nuts in this album. I just think it's very stylistic - it's Mastodon.
