Right now i'm putting it around 4.3 but might change it up later. really cool stuff. The 3 guitar deal works well. I wonder if that the only reason most people checked this out was due to the Opeth comments. None the less, this is one of the coolest bands i've heard in awhile, solid debut. I guess their is hope in the European third wave after all. Be;Lkaor and these guys.

I wouldn't say it was the Opeth comparisons, it was more the fact that you said the album ruled.

When is Watershed planned to come out?

Wasn't the Opeth comments for me at all. Was the album title and cover art actually, coupled with your glowing review, and the fact that I've come to very much trust your judgment.

And last I heard, watershed is due in June (well, it's a tentative may 30th, so probably june or july lol).

Which reminds me, i think if and when Opeth see this they're gonna be like "Dammit, now we have to totally redesign our album cover" lol.

I think they do sound like Opeth, The Black Lodge definitely brings to mind Deliverance, but I don't think Opeth will have any trouble making a better record than this.

I don't know why they didn't name the album The Black Lodge, it would have made much more sense in terms of the album art and the concept if they had.

This reminds me more of My Arms, Your Hearse than Deliverance. The Black Lodge kinda reminds me of "April Ethereal."

I'm still really not seeing the connection between the two.
