ok listened to scarlet beast - leviathan - wouldn't call it deathcorish at all. It just had downtempo parts. you probably just underestimated how much today's deathcore bands are stealing from blackened death metal, hence the association

i didn’t do anything. i said i think the song is pretty deathcore-y. not full on but there are clearly elements that are from deathcore, especially compared to their other stuff.
