Praise Lamented Shade is one of their best tunes IMO. I love it.

A few cuts here can easily qualify. I'd say the album is the best starting point other than Draconian Times, really accessible but showcasing their gothic doom sound neatly.

The Enemy is like butt goth but other than that this album is a real grower. I'd really love it if Holmes sung more with his "gothier" register throughout (which is why I dig hard Beneath Black Skies) but that's a nitpick after all

Yep, one of my favs here.

It's catchy but sometimes I find it annoying especially the verses, no wonder it's a single. Thankfully I dig all the other songs. It's been almost a year with that stunning weeping guitar off Prelude to Descent (~0:15) playing in my head every single day

This was a huge grower for me, it is often sugary but despite the poppiness the songs are quite strong and varied.

Yeah, it's a shame, really
It was actually widely praised as a return to form and their doom goth roots back when it came out
