this is probs #3 on the imaginary ranking of most casual jazz favourites of all time after Kind of Blue and Köln Concert (check), but whereas the other two are genuinely fantastic records end-to-end, this is hard carried by a couple of obvious classics. Time Further Out arguably the better record (though lacks the highlight factor)
doesn't scream stale farts only quite as much as Ayler drooling though, will give it that

ryo fukui is clean and ig a bit bland at points, but there are far worse picks for the internet's palatable cult classic. not rly an artist where i could entertain a strong opinion either way
