Shrug, looking like a tool or not, I salute him for supporting his opinion through such an obvious asshole attempt to get under his skin.

'I’m not really that good at noticing when riffs are recycled, but listening to Anthem Part Two from Blink-182’s Take Off Your Pants and Jacket and then Everything’s Magic, I’ve decided that the opening riff is exactly the same. What garbage.'
Fuck off! I read that, i got tabs for both riffs, and learnt them, i listend tot hem both, and no, i dont see how they are exactley the same. After doing this, i made an account for this website just so i can write this and disagree.
And its a good album, i think, so, crimpy crimpy fuck off! This Message Edited On 12.01.07

Has any one noticed that the chorus of secret crowds sounds like a lot like the chorus to "always" by blink 182. Just pointing that out. The album actually isn't that bad.
::Edit::
Plus R-Evolve by has the (basically) same opening riff of Adam's Song by Blink 182. So I don't really see a problem with Everything's Magic being a rip of Anthem Part II. You were just looking for more ways to bash a band you don't like. This Message Edited On 12.21.07

Actually you basically just gave us more reason to dislike them. Good Job.

If that's what you wish. Then go ahead. I just don't think they're that bad. I'm going to try and find more similarities, though. I may be able to make it seem like AVA is the next Sum 41!

This really isn't a review just a bashing of Tom DeLonge and AVA. You didn't give more than one example of you problems with the band. Your just holding a grudge against Tom and turning people off of his music because your still upset over Blink. Guess what thought? Blink isn't getting back together and this band has nothing to do with them so GET OVER IT. When you listen to this album you can't compare them to Blink their two different bands.
"He’s got no passion, emotion. No depth. No songwriting skills. Everything’s Magic? You’ve got to be kidding me. "
You really no nothing about Tom and his music, you should learn something about a man before bashing him. But what I love about Tom is that he doesn't care what anyone thinks, he's going to keep making his music so you're going to have to live with it. He will always have fans and you can't change that.
I will give you the fact that two songs sound very similar (True Love and Star of Bethlehem). Besides that no songs sound similar at all, so i'll give you a little credit for that but still that's not enough to hate this album. In Closing i totally disagree with your "review", I could accept the fact that you don't like AVA's music, but you just seem to have a biased against Tom.

I have a hard time giving you the upmost objective credit in this one jmac13301
I mean, cmon, you gave this album a perfect record. like white album, thriller, kind of blue, zepplin IV perfect. why?

This really isn't a bashing of Tom Delonge and AVA just a review of a bad album. You didn't give bad arguments against the lack of delivery or originality in the band. Your just turning people off of this music because your opinion is backed up. Guess what thought? Arguments like "u want teh blink" are gonna try and rear their ugly heads so GET OVER IT. When you listen to this album you can't compare them to Blink because... well, no you can, that's an obvious yes.
"He’s got no passion, emotion. No depth. No songwriting skills. Everything’s Magic? You’ve got to be kidding me. "
You really hit the nail right on the head with this one on both Tom and his music. But what I love about Tom is that he doesn't care what anyone thinks, he's going to keep making his music and make everyone suffer through it. He will always have fanboys and you sadly can't change that.
I will give you the fact that two songs sound very similar (True Love and Star of Bethlehem). Besides that no songs sound similar at all, except Everything's Magic and Call to Arms, and Breathe, and Sirens, and plus it's your own opinion, since that's grounds to hate this album. In Closing i totally agree with your "review", I could readily accept the fact that you don't like AVA's music nor their frontman Tom, whom i don't understand why i'm talking as if he's separate from the band in the first place. This Message Edited On 01.08.08

Wow sweet job Serpento you can change around my opinion on something and make yourself look clever. Why don't you try and make a little more sense next time thought. Sentences like "Arguments like "u want teh blink" are gonna try and rear their ugly heads so GET OVER IT." make you look like ten times smarter. I don't see how Everything's Magic, Call to Arms, Breathe and Sirens sound similar at all.
