Good review and album.
I think it will certianly appeal more to fans of the show as many will recognise songs that have been extended, which for the most part work.
Some good guitar work as well, especially considering it was origianlly only made for a tv show.

I like listening to Dethklok after I watch the show, gives me a reason to listen to it cause I'm not inspired to on my own.
This is though a decent album and a great album to accompany a tv show.
It's also a good listen if your new to the death metal scene.
I can't see me purchasing the cd though.

I'm of the opinion that the show and band mock "real" (and good) death metal. Therefore I must reject everything they do. Plus they really don't sound that good. My buddy tries to make me listen to this album allt he time, I just laugh at the foolishness of it all.

Just got this album today and I think it's awesome. It's great how comedic it is yet it takes on this serious metal sound. Love the show, too.
I think my two favorites right now are Go Into the Water and Dethharmonic.

Too true....I guess I was just getting sick of some people I know trying to make me listen to it, like it was some of the "best Death Metal ever!" But, when not lumped into Death Metal, than yes, I suppose they are OK. Anyhow, I changed my rating to reflect my change of heart towards the band.
