it's incredibly technical yes.

But the terrible vocals, lack of ideas, and the awkward posturing of vocalist vs. instrumental kind of makes this unbearable as anything but adrenaline music.

Old vocalist was pretty terrible, new ones not that much better. Tim Yeung's drums and the guitars are pretty decent though.

I do agree with bastard about the adrenaline music thing as well. This Message Edited On 12.19.08

New vocalist sucks..Tommy was better but seriously these guys should just get a Death Metal singer and get it over with

The drummer is pretty good. Dino's pretty decent for what he is, but nothing truly special, plus his songwriting is crap.

I actuall find his songwriting on this album very good. In contrast, I don't like pretty much everything Fear Factory has put out, plus I don't care for their new album. Somehow this album strikes me on my achilles heel and owns me and you.

90's metal growl? I personally think he's one hell of a screamer, he has more power and purity behind his gutteral than most modern metal screamers to date just by the way it cuts through the sound of the rest of the band perfectly.

This was a great album, too bad they lost Tommy Vext because their new stuff is horrible.

These guys are pretty good as long as they're in your face brutal, but when they start trying to be melodic, they sound like lame shitty metalcore. Fuck.
