The production might sound a little harsh or raw but there's also a lot of energy in the songs which is what I dig about this. The bookends are some of my favorite Devy tracks too.

It is kind of flat though. I mean, there are a lot of different vibes going on throughout the album but the production makes it tedious. It's not that it's bad it just doesn't really do anything for the music.

Finally getting into this guy's work, just watched live versions of Deadhead and Kingdom and I'm still picking my brains up off the floor. This guy makes most of my fav vocalists look like garbage.

I can see people's gripes with the production... It wasn't so bad at the beginning, and it does still have that typical Devy wall of sound, but by the end of the album, it was just abrassive. The songs were really good for the most part... Namaste, Kingdom, Planet Rain...
