Not AM!'s best record by a long shot, but 'Ocean' and 'Thrash Unreal' are two of the band's best songs. I also happened to like 'Stop'. It's catchy as hell and I don't understand the hate.

finished reading "tranny" but i still love this album!

goddamn so much of tranny is laura recounting shit with other people. not bein judgmental, but at a certain point, you start to realise that there's more personal conflict detailed in that book than you woulda expected. i read it after the nofx book so it paled in comparison, and the nofx book had a lot less beef in it, but good read nonetheless.

This has some of the best pop-punk songs ever written. The problem was the fan base hated them for it.

against me fans hated them every time they did anything. but this was their first major label album so it was set up to incur some special hatred

i can kinda understand considering where they came from, like if you fall in love with a band early on for certain reasons and they go on to totally forsake those reasons it's pretty disappointing. but still these are dam good songs.
