this and Nightshade Forests are great. summoning has an amazing discog. haven't heard the new album but everything they've done except Lost Tales is mandatory listening.

new one takes a while to grow and get used to the production but it's another worthy addition to their illustrious discog

My favourite Summoning album, Nightshade Forests is absolutely amazing and I find myself drawn to this song often.

imagine an epic but gritty fantasy film with arcenstone-like ambient music as OST.

actually that EP reminds me a lot of the 1978 LOTR film, super trippy, but yeah id be down for something like that for sure

I still have that film on VHS. What a disappointment it was to find out as a kid that there was no second part.

there was the return of the king animated, but i didnt like the style as much, i dont think i finished it actually. yeah its a bummer that the 1978 film didnt get a proper follow up

oh, I didn't even know that film existed. But your description and the ridiculous movie poster don't exactly make my mouth water.

Have you jammed the Mirkwood demo btw? Silenius' side project, from which Arcenstone was taken.

oh i havent, just put it on now, thanks.

the return of the king film is in the animation style of the hobbit, so thats nice enough, but its a musical.. which turned me off quite a bit

YES! It's cool. Those fake organs are awesome, and the midi-ness of some of the keys remind me of Age Of Empires and you know that's a good thing in my book.
Plus hellooo LotR!!!
